So my dad, about 2 weeks ago, told me he'd bought me a ~surprise xmas present and I was like 'oh alright, as long as it's not Twilight'.

So, after the order cancelled itself mysteriously (which should've been the first tip), it arrived today. And what do I see?

Not one, but all THREE of the Twilight books.

So I thought. 'Shit'. And then I thought, well at least now I can read it and see if it sucks that bad after all.

So I tried - tried - to read the entire first chapter. And after much struggle, I did it.

OMG, what is that? Srsly, what? I was like, no. No, no, no. It hurt my brain, trying to read that thing. It sucks so much it's unbelievable. That shit was written for mentally challenged 10 year old girls. The sentences are entirely retarded, the writing style is dull and idiotic, and the chick having a mental breakdown cause some dude glared at her? OMG, go die plz. Even I can write better than that.

And the worse part is telling my dad I hated it. Sigh. Cause I know he meant well. Even though I told him very clearly 'AS LONG AS IT'S NOT TWILIGHT', but hey, let's give him a break. So basically...

Soo I just received my DVD today through the mail. Ultimate Edition, 2 disks DVD. I live in Brazil, so the release date was set for before the US date.

I haven't watched the entire thing yet, but from what I can see, it's awesome. The making-of is TWO HOURS LONG, and it's so detailed it nearly takes the whole ~movie magic off. Still, it's amazing, they go from the pre-production to the movie premiere. The 'featurettes' people were talking about it's simply the movie making of. And then there's a special about the comic book, which is also really detailed and very good. There's 3 scenes I think with RDJ's screen test, which are all amazing. You totally see why they chose him after the screen test. And they say bad words :o (Btw, I think the entire movie would've been sooo much better if they were allowed to curse. But it's a comic book movie for kids, so I get it). Umm whatelse. Oh, the extra scenes, some I agree why they were taken off, and some I don't. I think that at least 3 of those scenes would've made the movie so much more interesting.

There's still a few extras I gotta watch (it really is a TON of extras, I gotta give them that). I spent like, the last 4 hours just watching them and I still didn't watch all of it.

I didn't take any more pics cause everyone's seen the covers.

100% worth the money. If you get the chance, buy the Ultimate Ed.
