Is Kristen Stewart as big of a bitch as she seems? (oh shit)
The first week, it was kind of awkward. I felt like I had gotten to know her a little. But we were sitting together at lunch one day, just talking, and I said “Hey Kristen, how is filming going?” She blew up at me. “Preston! Don’t ask me how filming is going! I hate when people ask me that!” I got upset. Like, ‘oh sorry you’re the fucking star of the movie Kristen, my bad for asking you how it was going.’
Do you think that they’re dating?
No, I don’t think so. There was no chemistry on set. Robert… I just don’t think Kristen is his type of style. He’s a really shy kid. I think he’s only had one girlfriend ever.

One of the biggest horror films to arrive in theaters in 2006 - and probably one of the best this decade - was Neill Marshall's claustrophobic The Descent. Those of you in the UK should consider yourselves lucky as on December 4th you'll be some of the first ever to witness Jon Harris' hotly anticipated sequel The Descent: Part 2. To get your blood pumping we've posted an exclusive world premiere clip from the film that features a head-stompin' gory clip from deep down in the terrifying cave. Check it out beyond the break and watch for info on a release here in the States when it's announced.
"Emerging from the cave system alone, distraught and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Sceptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah's psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines (Gavan O’Herlihy) doesn’t waste time. Along with his partner Rios (Krysten Cummings), and their cave rescue team Dan (Douglas Hodge), Greg (Joshua Dallas), and Cath (Anna Skellern), Vaines forces Sarah back into the caves to help the rescuers find her friends."
In cinemas December 4. Check out the film's official website or our image gallery to head even deeper.

Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Send First Twitter Messages
New Moon costars Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart posted a series of 140-character messages on the microblogging site Monday to thank fans for supporting their film, which earned a whopping $140 million in its first three days.
Pattinson, 23, was the first star to post on Summit Entertainment's official Twilight Twitter page, writing "Thank you for making NEW MOON #1. It's very exciting to be a part of something embraced by so many people. I hope you are looking forward to ECLIPSE as much as I am."
His costar -- and rumored real-life love interest -- followed suit, with three consecutive postings, which were read by Summit's 162,700 followers.
"You all have proven you're the most amazing fans in the world once again," the 19-year-old actress wrote, before echoing Pattinson's appreciative sentiments about making the movie tops at the box office.
"Yes, I twittered," Stewart confirmed. "Or twitted..tweeted? I dunno, but thank you sooo much anyway..!"
The second installment in the Twilight film franchise, New Moon grossed a stellar $140.7 million during its first weekend in theaters, earning $72.7 million on its Friday opening day alone. Its follow-up film, Eclipse, will hit theaters in June.

It is so good of her to remember us poor souls. Remember, Kristen alone is wise and just; she has power over all things. She is with us all at all times; only through her can salvation be attained.

When Alkaline Trio decided to get back to their roots for their upcoming seventh album, they only had to look to their hometown of Chicago for inspiration. "While we were there recording, we saw a lot of old friends we haven't seen in a long time," singer/guitarist Matt Skiba tells Spinner. "We've always been big fans of Screeching Weasel, Pegboy and Naked Raygun, our forefathers in the Chicago punk scene. Hanging out with everybody then playing Riot Fest with all these great bands we grew up seeing, I think those influences seeped in a lot more."
Skiba says the new album -- the title of which has yet to be revealed -- will feature less overdubs, more straight-ahead guitars and personal song topics, much like their 1998 debut, 'Goddamnit.' The band recorded the 11 tracks in Atlas Studios with producer Matt Allison, who produced the band's first three albums. "Matt has a really great ear and some really great ideas, so he engineered the record and co-produced it. The official production credit is ours though," Skiba says. "We went in with a very strict idea of what we wanted to do."
Aside from Chicago, Skiba also cites SoCal punk stalwarts Social Distortion as having a large influence on the record. "They've never put out a bad album, in my opinion," he says. " I remember being like 'Wow, this sounds like old Social D' [during recording]. It's got that melodic yet melancholic kind of mean guitar lead. It sort of reminds me of 'Mommy's Little Monster' and some of the older stuff and like how psyched I was to hear that."
"I think that we wanted to make a punk rock record that we've been describing as 'thinking-man's punk,'" Skiba continues. "We wanted to do something that's fun but also interesting and lyrically, something that will be fun for people to read along to and hopefully understand."
Skiba also reveals that he wrote eight of the songs on the album while three were written by bassist Dan Adriano. "We both came in with an equal amount of songs, a f---load of songs, and it was pretty easy to pick out the ones we wanted to use," he says. "There are three of us that have equal say in the creative process, so you gotta leave your ego at the door. Dan and I are best friends and we're not competitive with each other at all. We're partners and we try and do everything for the better of the band and for the better of the record."
The album is tentatively due out in February 2010.

For Empire Magazine’s 20th birthday issue, they got together an impressive handful of actors and photographed them in one of the greatest roles they’ve ever done. Most of these films are timeless and will be talked about forever.
I’ve been looking at these photos for the last hour frozen. They are insanely beautiful and the last 26 years of my movie watching life has just resurfaced. Thank you Empire, I’m now in love with you.
Check out every photo after the jump, and click on the image to see the full resolution size. From what I read, the photo of Jack Nicholson is supposed to represent ABOUT SCHMIDT. I don’t know about that. Either way, every single one of these photos are kick-ass!

Today's chatter post is brought to you by the US Marine Corps veteran I met at the post office this morning. Feel free to laugh at me for sharing his story from his point of view, but it's basically repeating what he told me in line today, so why not:
I'm 82 years old. I've done four tours of active duty, risking my life to protect my country, its people, and its flag. These are things that mean a lot to a man like me, as I'm sure you can imagine. I don't like to see these things disrespected after all my hard work to make sure they stayed free.
That's why I cause such a fuss about the flag outside this post office. [American flags are supposed to be taken down in darkness or bad weather and to be retired properly when they fade or tear. This is a faded, torn flag, displayed at all times with no awning to protect from the weather or lights on it at night.] When I see it, especially in unsuitable conditions, I feel like my contributions to this country aren't being appreciated. It's an insult to my sacrifices to treat the flag like this. That's why I've contacted two senators, a congressman, the mayor, and the postmaster general about this over the past year - and still, they haven't done anything.
This means so much to me that part of the reason I'm here today is to offer to take care of the flag myself. I can take it down every night, put it up every morning, and drive over to bring it in when it starts raining, but I'd like to see a new flag purchased and this one retired from its position. Hell, I'll even burn this one myself, because I'm not sure I can trust whoever's in charge of it to show the proper respect.
What do you care about that people don't quite seem to understand?

That song is really growing on me.

Rihanna visits Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on KIIS FM in Hollywood on Tuesday (December 1) and takes a photo with a lucky fan.
Earlier, the 21-year-old Barbados beauty spoke about her nude photos being leaked earlier this year to NYC radio station Hot 97 and called it “humiliating.” Here’s what RiRi revealed:
On the nude photos leaked earlier this year: “They were for my boyfriend at the time….if you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him.”
On feeling like she’d lost her privacy: “It was the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to me. I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that [with the other photo leak] and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life.’”
On support from her mom: “I was nervous [but] when the world is against me she’s always there supporting.”
On what she’s learned from her relationship with Chris Brown: “My whole relationship with him was a learning experience. There was a lot of insecurity and a lot of control issues. In relationships in the future I know how to watch out for certain things. A lot of those were signs. I learned that in the end.”
( we got our guns in the motherfucking air )
Now that Chris Brown’s album ‘Grafitti’ is out there, one song that will have every one talking is the Rihanna-directed ‘Famous Girl’.

A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.
